Does anyone know the best way of asking Royal mail politely what they have done with 2 letters that Royal Preston Hospital have sent my son? He has had a snotty letter today telling him that as he has not responded to the offer of a physiotherapy assessment he will be removed from the waiting list in 7 days!
I've phoned the appointment secretary and she has listed these two letters from January. The one thing she did say was that she would now send the confirmation of the appointment we've arranged by first class this time! mmmm, anyway, do the Royal mail keep second class letters somewhere?

Ask if they can e mail or text in future.

Certainly my hospital and dentist texts reminders of booked appointments.

Ask the hospital if they frank their mail, if they do Royal Mail should have a date of when they collected and delivered it.

It`s up to the sender to ask Royal Mail what has happened to the missing post. Presumably lots of other mail sent at same time but explanation is needed as it appears to have happened on two separate occasions.

My dentist txts aswell PB. I could maybe understand one letter going astray, but not 2 from the same place. I have said if we don;t get the confirmation letter in a day or so i will ring them. My son was in a bus crash on his way to school when he was 13 and the doctors then said his back would suffer when he was older, he's only got to 27 : (
