I am a genius!

You know all those mediums who claim they can talk to the dead and things? They say "oh i'm getting someone i think there called John or Mary" Why not take them to somewhere like south Africa or Korea and then lets see how many names they get coming through? If they didn't have time to research names it would be interesting to see who they are able to contact!!!! I wonder how many dead Johns or Elizabeths there are in North Korea?

I'm afraid I am a sceptic but with a glimmer of hope that maybe there is something after we die. I try not to think about it to be honest.
Honestly I do see what you are trying to do apart from place your dazzling intellect on a pedestal of course but generally speaking, such charlatans make it all up anyway. Names in African and in Aboriginal are generally derived from things that are seen (yes such like that joke, Two Dogs Shagging etc).
So all they would need do is say (for example) oh, I see a kangaroo, feeding on the ground. And Fred the Aboriginee would say a kangaroo, feeding? That would be my uncle Balagorang

I see where you're coming from, Sherman, and agree. Take them away from their normal element and they'll be sunk.
Uri Geller used to do an astounding 'psychic' trick with metal cups. One day, on a TV show, they swapped his own 'special' (i.e. marked) cups with identical ones without telling him. He soon realised he was duped. He couldn't carry out his act, and stammered out desperate excuses.

There are so many charlitans that very few people are ever likely to met a genuine psychic. However many years ago I had the very great fortune to experience a private audience with one.
She spoke in detail of things about my life that she could not have guessed. Yes she did ask if there was a Tom who had passed. Tom was my grandfather but what she spoke about in relation to him without the slightest prompting was remarkably individual.
You need to understand that in psychic phenomena (like in Quantum Mechanics) the observer is a part of the experiement. No ardent skeptic will ever experience it no matter how genuine the psychic.
You are no genius, just a smart@rse.

I urge anyone interested in psychic readings, especially those who have been impressed by their accuracy, to read this:
