I apologise for the number of questions I posted last night as I am new to this site and did not know they could all be posted under one heading.

I am a bit old and doddery but I really have spent many hours and days trying to work out the answers to those I posted and was not merely being lazy in not bothering to think them out for myself.

I appreciate and thank those of you who posted suggestions and (what now appear to me to be) obvious answers.

Computing is a new activity in my life and I am still learning the ropes. So sorry and thanks where appropriate. from Ruth
