It just seems tropical in every Chemist I've ever been in. Just wondered if there is a good reason for it. I mean are they incubating some form of Alien out the back or somthing?

poss because they tend to have a lot of ill or old people in them...?
It's so that the druggies won't hang around in the shop too long keeping genuine customers waiting.
I have also found this to be true of hospitals - why?
Have you ever found a window in a hospital you could actually open? THAT's why!
I was meaning when you are in a dept waiting for the staff to see you.... Like when I go to physio every week its ridiculous
