how much food?
ok this probably sounds stupid but here goes....
My daughter is 8 months old and hasn't put on any weight in amonth, she's underweight anyway because of severe reflux but that seems so much better these days she's hardly sick at all.
She is very active (standing and crawling all the time) and has had a cold for a month which is probably why she hasn't put on weight this month, but now I'm concerned she isn't eating enough any way. She is never hungry but always eats everything she is given. She never seems full but if she eats more than what I've listed below she's sick more. She sleeps 10-12 hours at night and still doesn't wake up hungry
At the moment she is on a hypoallergenic formula and no dairy as this seems to make her sick.
This is what she eats at the moment, is it enough?
9.30 - 1x weetabix with 5oz formula milk
12.20 - 1x 125g jar of food and 3oz formula
3.30 - 5oz formula
6.30 - 1 and a half 125g jars of food and water
9.30 - 6oz formula
(not always jars but the equivelant amount of home cooked food)

I would think that you need to be giving her snacks between the meals rather than giving her bigger meals if that makes her sick. My kids never went more than 2 hours without something! (still don't) Try her with some finger foods like toast, cheese, fruit, pasta and biscuits or cheese straws or breadsticks or something in between her meals.
My elder son used to projectile vomit - lovely - and was always sick when he had a cold or a temperateure, so often lost weight or didn't gain any when he was unwell, but you need to maximise the opportunities for her to intake calories during the day. That might help her gain a bit, and alsays make sure that she has the highest calorie version of anything - she needs her fats, which is probably harder if you are avoiding dairy.

I recently took my son - who is now 8 months old, for a weigh in at the clinic and found myself feeling awful about the fact that he was underweight. I felt like I'd failed him.
He was eating lots of home cooked meals - plenty of fruit and veg, juice, formula etc etc.
Turned out that i just wasn't giving him enough protien and carbs. I had to up his meat, fish, pasta, rice and eggs intake and within a couple of weeks he's back on track.

lol, lore I know the feeling. I've been accused of not feeding her before now as 'they' don't believe that she never gets hungry or that she's as sick as I say she is!
I just feel like food is a battle already. Some days it seems all I have done is fed her all day!
Will look into sme more fingerfoods although what she's had already has mainly just been held onto for hours or thrown on the floor, don't think she eats any of it!

I think sometimes, we need to just step back and realise that not every child is the same.
Some like a lot of food, some don't!
I wonder, if at her 3:30 feed you could give her a few spoons of home made rice pud (made with her formula milk) before the bottle.
I've been buying the flaked rice pudding from tesco, it only takes 6 mins to make in the pan - ok it's nothing like a rice pudding that's been in the oven for an hour or two but it's still a nice treat and you don't have to make it with sugar as it suggests on the packet, I usually stir in some fruit puree to sweeten it up. I also make semolina (very old fashioned but my wee man loves it)
I'm thinking maybe she needs four or five smaller meals rather than three big meals per day to save the weight on her stomach resulting in her being sick.
