Shall we meat in the emirates and watch an arsenal match one day and have a few beers arfewoods.
I dont think that you have been on here that long to know this, but about a year or so ago I was working on the new flats that they built on our old highbury ground and jesus was it weird being there when I had been there before watching the likes of pat rice, george graham, peter story, charlie george, bob wilson, etc, etc, etc.
It was so weird being there looking out at the ground that used to be from a penthouse apartment that was not quite finished yet that was going for 1.2 million pounds and the cheapest flats were going for over 200 grand

omg knobby, u r a legend..............Charlie George used to be my hero, I was so in love with him.
I loved Highbury, my dad use to take me up the clock end most home games on a Saturday. we always had to leave before the final whistle cos he was scared of me getting hurt in the crowds.
The Emirates is fab, but its not Highbury. me and my youngest son went there to see the Eremites cup, but we both thought it didnt have the atmosphere. loved it tho...

The clock end Jan? i always used to go low profile in the sort of dugouts in the east end. then I found the north bank and become a hooligan.
I have been to the emirates a few times but it just has not got the same atmosphere as highbury has it.
I really do feel privelaged to have worked on the flats at the old highbury stadium and seen what that has developed into now and it must be nearly fineshed now.
The old highbury pitch was just full of containers and jcb's and mud when I was there but it was going to be landscaped gardens when the project was finished and I bet it is by now
