Rhubarb

I have a new small rhubarb plant in a pot in the greenhouse ii as two stalks 4 to 6 inch. long. When is it the time to plnt it outside? Any other advice will be gratfully received.

I`ve had the same root for about 25years and it still crops every year in a shady place. All the treatment it gets is a covering of manure over- winter, and we blanche a lot and freeze it. Don`t` mollycoddle` it like the above link says. Always pull & twist the stems from the base, and leave some stalks at the end of the season to revitalise. Plant anytime now, but cover with fleece if frost is suspected until established.
