Any recommended cures for travel sickness in young dogs

They do grow out of it usually.

However, our vet recommends a teaspoon of Benylin cough syrup (the one that makes you drowsy) which is fine for dogs and has just the right amount of antihistamine in calm the dog and make it less likely to be sick!

My dog absolutely hated it though!!!

Our dog was very car sick until about 9 months old. She is now never sick and regularly travels on long journeys with no problems whatsoever.

There has been some success giving ginger biscuits just before you travel.
