And just to give the 'bug' his full credit, his name was Jiminy Cricket who, coincidently, actually was a cricket. His name first appeared in the mid 1800's as an expression of surprise and is even used by Disney in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. When the seven return home and find their cottage lights on they exclaim, "Jiminy Crickets!"
