Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Bit of a slow start with this one - I don't know about everyone else but for me, this site is crawling like a snail !!

thanks to tearinghair for the links and thanks also to london_lassy for the confirmation.

Now down to business - and I think my wish for lots of points jinxed the whole thing completely, so sorry about that and I won't do it again.

beejay1124 was the first to strike a blow in was has proved to be a very low scoring game, quickly followed by centrino & Strix for Moth Ball[s]

roslyn251254 in thick of it too, with bonus points for Sheep Shank and then kettledrum stormed home with the last of the bonus points for Pound Sign and Guide Line, plus one extra for Sheep shank.

Good Guess points were very thin on the ground with ChrisHewat & twix123 each collecting two while a further 15 entries added one point to their tally.

I shall post this now and have a quick look at the Leader Board and get back asap......S

Wow! 5 points for me!! I can't think how I managed to pick up 1 for sheepshank as I don't usually choose words that someone else has already picked. Either I can't have been looking properly or it wasn't there when I started typing. Thanks for all your hard work Steff; having not troubled your abacus for ages, it's nice to have a small success for a change.

Now .... if only I could do the same on the MM links ....
