You need to double click on the word 'address', that will open an address bar to type an url in.
To make it disappear and go back to just the word, double click again, this will give you more room to see the open files on desktop.
Sorry ' wildwood ' you dont understand the problem that I have, if I had an ' address bar ' I would not be asking the question. It should normally be so that when I L/Click on the taskbar I can then click on 'Address ' or whatever and the requested item would appear on my taskbar, but it does not.
I had already gone through all the above, with no success.
When I as normal Right click on Taskbar and then point to 'Toolbars' -- I see that the 'Quick Launch' is already 'ticked' and of course the icons are showing on the taskbar as they should. If i go through the same routine and select 'Address' - nothing happens the address bar is just not there. Its some time since I last used the address bar as of course there are other ways as we know, it's just that it has gone missing and I thought one of our many friends would have an answer. I am still open to suggestions if anyone has any ideas.
