What i mean is i want to install some fonts onto a computer which has the control panel disabled by the admins so i carnt do it the normal way (control panel-folders-fonts) but im sure there is a different way to do it (through the command line prompt) but i dont know the code to access the font folders
having cp doesn't mean you'll be able to copy files to the system fonts folder.
if the need is legit ... why not get the SA to do it for you
if it's not legit ... 2 options
your SA will rip you a new one (or at least whip you with the cord from his anorak hood)
or - as where I work - it's seen as introducing unauthorised data which may threaten the integrity of the works intranet and could be a sackable (if they want rid .... it's a good excuse).
the most aggravating thing is while the font will print ... it won't be displayed on other work machines the font isn't installed on (unless it's sent as a pdf)
