I have got a Vauxhall Astra and am thinking of getting a VW Passat or a Toyota Avensis. Which do people recommend and why?

Hi, If you Google the booth cars you will get a run down on each, myself if I was in your position of changing, would go for the VW. German quality & reliability.

I've had a Passat and an Avensis. The Avensis is a far better car more comfort, room, extras as standard and a bigger boot.

've got a T180 Avensis and it's very quick. I prefer it to the Audi A4 I had previously. Just not as good a badge on the front but that does bother me.

VWs being reliable is just a myth, also, the worst drivers on the road drive VWs

Had 4 toyotas , 2 Corollas , 2 yaris would swear by the reliability of the make.

If your considering a german car, then go for an Audi A6. Superb quality and marque. I have a smile a mile wide every time I get into mine.
