auto start cd

when i inserted a cd in my computer(windows xp) it used to start automatically. when i updated my hard drive i now have to start with my computer, drive e then click on file to play. how do i get back to auto play when i insert a cd or dvd

Try going to "My computer" - right click on the letter of your CD Drive, then select Properties and there should be a tab there for Auto-play.

put MICROSOFT AUTOPLAY REPAIR in google. This will sort it.
