lost info on lkicience

sent off for my new licience after getting wed moved in with hubby lost licience came back from dvla as provisional they say only have data from passing test no theory data so only provisional licience sent how can that be cannot take test without theory pass paper. some one please help dvla useless who would have info ???

Have you got the Licence No, If so contact DVLA & tell them the No.

Ok you have to do this in writing, write down what has happenned like you have above and put in a copy of the licence they sent you. On the phone they just want to get rid of you as quick as poss, if you write then a grown up will look at it. DVLA have had problems in the past and there was a major stink a couple of years ago with motorcyclists suddenly losing their entitlement, Watchdog sorted it in the end. Send them any further info you have dates you did the theory etc etc and also as you say you can have a test without a theory pass so point that out. Oh and mention the Watchdog case and how embarrasing that was Good luck.
