In the original Lionel Richie video of Hello he appeared with a beautiful blind girl.
Was she really blind or was she acting the part?
If an actress, what did she go on to do?

The girl who played the blind sculptress in the video was a fully-sighted aspiring actress named Laura Carrington. She played Dr. Simone Ravelle Hardy in General Hospital in the late 1980s.
