Does anyone know of a hotel with a view of the London Eye!
Could anyone recommend me a hotel that has views of the London Eye, preferrably with a balcony? Myself and my boyfriend would like to watch the fireworks for NYE but would like to see it from the warmth of a hotel room or a balcony with a bottle of champers! I know it's about 10 months away but I want to get in quick as I know the hotels will get booked up!

we went to Marriott County Hall for my aunts 70th last year and the .views of london eye were ace - but pay extra for a thames view room
You look right out at Houses of Parliament and London Eye and it is a picture at night.
We didnt have a balcony but you can walk about 50yds and stand on ground level balcony looking straight out at London.
I would go again tomorrow!

we stayed at royal horseguards one new years eve our room faced the wrong way but i think there must be the option of rooms with the right view there. In fact they were serving champagne in the bar watching it all going on. We went out on the street and the atmosphere was undescribable - i think if i was there again id go outside . only a few steps round the corner. if its of interest to you we were in london last weekend stayng tower hotel and had the most amazing views of tower bridge, i could have spent the whole 3 days n nights in my room looking out the window. Well worth a stay sometime.
