Did anyone watch RedRiding last night?

I was quite tired while it was on so I only half watched it.... I got to the bit where he put his hands down on the stone table thing then fell asleep! What happened then? Did they chop his hands off? Did they kill him?
Who were the police working for and why?

i watched it - and I still don't know!

It was so confusing. i think he killed the sean bean character and made off with his girlfriend.
But there were lots of dreamlike bits and so i'm really not sure what was real!

Sean Bean killed his girl friend, the reporter shot Sean and then the reporter was chased by the police, we assume he got killed in his car as he drove straight into a road block.A bit of a mix up altogether, I thought it was a big let down.Oh I forgot to say Sean Bean was the child killer.

The police were working for Bean because he had evidence against them sexual affairs etc, I dare say the show will suggest he provided girls etc for the local elites.
I don't normally watch murder for entertainment (Prime Suspect etc) but I quite enjoyed the show (felt like the 70s to me) although I did'nt buy Bean's character as a sadistic paedophile.
