Do I have to pay a certain amount of money into my bank account each month to have a Maestro card?

Seems so.....just discovered this from son's Maestro; he never had any funds, looked puzzled, guess who's credit card was used?

Well maybe - it will be one of the factors the bank takes into account when deciding to let you have one or not.

But I doubt it's a 100% rule
