homework?
I was going to say that. I'm sure many people do not mind the 'homework' questions except that they come across as demanding.

Sorry didn't mean to sound demanding, i'm a surveyor currently doing a from home degree and have reached the law section. I'm struggling to get my head round it all and was hoping someone could offer some assistance. Law is a hard subject!!!

Parliament enacts a law, and the judiciary then decide what that law actually means.

That decision is not always what Parliament intended, because the parliamentary draughtsmen get it wrong and the members of parliament don't always fully understand the proposals they are being asked to accept, as they are set out in the Bill they are considering.
