battered scampi

Can anybody give me an easy recipe for battered scampi. Just love it but nobody can give me a tried and easy recipe for it. Thanks for any advice.

You could try a fish batter recipe,to be honest its easier just to go out buy it!!!

Or you could put the scampi in foil with some garlic and lemon juice and cook them in the oven. Serve with rice or salad. There are a lot of calories in battered scampi - especially if you fry them.

Doesn't scampi usually come in breadcrumbs, not batter? Either way, I also think its just easier to go and buy some from Tesco!

thanks for your answers - bought them in supermarkets and they are yeurgh. Anyway in the light of this morning i think what I am looking for is Prawn Tempura. That is it. Ta for any replies.
