My sister is emigrating in 2 weeks and has given me her tropical fish, i went down to a fish specialist before getting them and his advice was great we kept the old water but i was terrified they would die in transport but thankfully a week later they seem very happy fish, the tank is a little silver 320 heated, with light and under gravel filter, I picked up stress coat and the water purifier, and was told once a week to take 2 inches out and replace with clean water which i have done, the water is very cloudy but i am sure it will settle down again, there seems so much muck under the stones and i have a tube thing to suck the muck up if i take 2 inches out every week and replace with clean do i add more stress coat and water purifier? and if so how much

Many thanks

if you have gravel in th bottem you should get a net and move the stones around but do it gently as not to scare the fish this way you can get some of the muck that the filter has missed and about the water you should be taken half of the water out not a couple of inches then do this with the stones you will catch the muck from the stones in the net and then fill it back up when its all done, or you could put the fish in a bag or bowl with some of the water from the tank but only for a little while so you can do it when you done this you should put more of the water purifier and sometimes the stress coat you should only put in what the bottle says as the bigger the tank the more you need
