Once again, the response from Social Services to the dreadful death of an infant is 'improved training'. His crack-addict mother had already had one child taken away from her, her partner was a convicted paedophile, the 'family' was 'known' to Social Services.
How many more infants and children have to die at the hands of their parents/carers before social workers are considered to be 'sufficiently' trained?

Too many, probably, I'm afraid to say. However, my guess is that the social workers are trained, but completely overrun due to underfunding.

Till this is sorted, there's likely to be more to come.
