Styling Products for Short Sleek(ish) Hair

Have just had my hair cut shorter and its nice and sleek with slightly flicked out bits at the end. I was previously using a volumising gel but this makes my hair too big with my new style! Can anyone recommend a styling product (whether it be mousse, gel, spray or other!) that I should use? Have looked in Boots but an bamboozled by the amount of things they have !!

Did your stylist not recommend the products that she/he was using in the salon?

Most people think that the stylist is just after another sale, but think about it. The stylist couldn't achieve the finished result without the product they used, plus they have the benefit of using the products all the time so they know what works!

That said. without actually seeing the style its hard to say which product to buy!

Feel free to post a pic and i'll try and give you some better advice for product use.
