Blood test
10 Answers
I had a blood test 18 days ago which left me with very bad bruising, that's gone now but I still have bad pain at the site of the test. I've had many blood tests before and also used to give blood but none of them affected me like this. Should I go to the doc do you think or will it go of it's own accord?

And doctors would have the arm off you. At worst nurses are merely incompetent. And I am bound to say that the UK has more than its fair share of "vampires". Phlebotomy must be unbelievably badly taught in this country compared with many others!
If they are terminally incompetent (admittedly often, but by no means always, because your veins have become terminally incompetent), they say they will get a doctor to do it, and you say, No! Not a doctor! Anyone but a doctor! Anything but a doctor! Cant you use this corkscrew I had smuggled in with the booze for our midnight party last night?
Its not just that the doctors have less practice; its that the nurses ask them to take over because they are more brutal!
Any comments, sqad? Cmon, you know its true!
If this is a real problem for you, masma, you may have to consider dying before actually being admitted to hospital! I am a mass of painful calcified haematomas from galloping flesh-eating thrombophlebitis.
