I would like to bake french bread like you can buy in Sainsury's but cannot find anyone who stocks french flour.  Does anybody know any retail outlet that stocks it?

Can't you use english flour? What is the difference?

This is a lovely site that will send you all things  French, including flour:

You can only buy French bread in France. The stuff sold here is nothing like a fresh French baguette.

I think ASDA used to sell french bread flour!, not sure if they still do though!

Hope this helps!

I found a shop near me and bought a 1.5kg bag for 2.10
My recipe uses 1 cup French flour to 5 cups white bread flour.
Happy baking.
