I had my second ear piercings done yesterday and when I had to turn them later on in the day to help the healing process, I noticed that one of the stones in the earring was a little wobbly. If this was any other normal purchase, I would have gone back and swapped them for a pair that had the stones stuck well. But I can't do this because I'm not allowed to take them out for 6 weeks. Should I go back after the 6 weeks and tell the store, or am I entitled to a refund or anything??

Hi well you can actually take a piercing out before the six weeks is up as long as you put another ring straight back through the hole. So I'd take em back if I were you.
Is it the earring that actually pierced the ear? If it is they are only cheap and nasty lol

Jimmy - I chose I really nice set of studs that were more expensive, from a respectable jewellers. Didn't have them done anywhere shoddy like Claires!
And yes, they're the ones that were used to pierce them.

ObNOXious - They told me to keep them in for 6 weeks and then after that I can remove them, but only to replace them with others like you said... only after a huge SIX MONTHS, they said I can take them out and leave them out.
Nah you can whip em out and stick something else in as long as you do it straight away. My little girl did it when she pierced her ears, because she decided she didn't like the earrings she'd decided on.
the shaft/leg of the earring used in piercing guns are thicker than normal earrings. If the stone has fallen out am sure they will replace it - go back to the piercer.

Don't expect money back....training is expensive as is the equipment! The piercer also has the right to refer you to the earring manufacturer for refund - if you're obnoxious.
Go and talk to them. They should agree that the earring is faulty, agree to you keeping it in for the six weeks and then they'll replace it free of charge with a non-faulty one.
