I've downloaded IE8 and find that it is incompatible with my Web printing software for my HP printer.
How can I remove it ,safely, and reinstall IE7?
I'm not sure what to remove when I go to the " Add or Remove" option in the control panel and it's showing two or three IE8 items!
I've tried installing IE7 again but it informs me that it cannot be installed because there is a more recent version of IE installed!

Any help, please?

You could try system restore to, take your pc back to just before you installed 8.
In xp it`s control panel - help and support - undo changes to your computer with system restore - restore my computer to an earlier time, then click the date you want.

Just uninstall all the IE8 stuff and IE7 will come back as if by magic!

remove all the IE 8 icons in the add and remove programs .

restarted the computer.

download the latest version of IE 7 and installed.

it will work
