Used to able to click on a photo held in My Documents; it would then appear full-screen on I think windows picture viewer or some such name (I wish I'd paid it more attention at the time), and if I wanted I could alter it in Photoshop limited edition. Now I've installed Photoshop Elements 3 - and it gets called up automatically when I click on a photo in My Documents. I don't necessarily need this, I just want to see a picture, not modify it; and it takes a while to load each time. Is there some way I can get the computer to default to whatever programme used to show photos?

If you're using XP, right click on the file, choose "open with", choose "chosse programme" and when the selection box comes up, choose your prefered programme, and check the "always open this type of file with.." .  I seem to remember older version of Windows made this process a lot more convoluted.
