A pity really because just as they could not see the credit crunch happening they are turning their blind eyes to racial problems that can now only get worse. Non-EU Immigration should be halted immediately and those here illegally deported!

Yes, because such violence would also have been unjustifiable even against the morons in Luton.
It was a failure by the Police on the day to arrest any of them for the blatantly obvious Public Order offences which
compounded their disgraceful behaviour.
Similarly, much as I abhor what the BNP stand for, we cannot just condone the attack otherwise the country would very quickly degenerate into total anarchy.
I see that someone has been arrested. If found guilty, he deserves a jail sentence, and I would feel the same had the victim been a "radical" Muslim in Luton.

This kind of behaviour - specifically a physical assault - is unacceptable against any human being regardless of their opinions. It doesn't matter if the political views they hold are represented by a party (legitimate or otherwise) or simply by themselves. So, to put the question into its wider context, while disgust at the presence of a bunch of racist bigots in your backyard may be understandable and even to be applauded, hitting one of them with a hammer is never a substitute for peaceful public protest, silent or vociferous; take your choice.
Furthermore this attack plays right into the hands of the White supremicist organisation.
Now, they can point to that attack as evidence that their opponents are thugs who resort to violence rather than debate.
That would be an unfair characterization. Everyone I know has a fairly low opinion of the BNP, but they wouldn't go round beating them up. That's the solution that only morons resort to.
