My friend has had prostrate problems for 8 yrs.recently he had 25 sessions of radio therapy.immediatly after the last he has had severs pains in bladder and has had a tube inserted into bladder to pass water. He has had to call out doctors most every day and they give him injections and morphine drinks.None of them help for more than a hour or so.Has any one had the same symptoms and do they get any better if so how long before the do.

Although I wouldn't presume to give advice if your friend requires radio therapy- I do know that zinc is very good in a general way for maintaining the health of the prostate. A friend of mine has some "waterworks" problems andtook a vitamin with zinc and the problem cured itself. I would look for natural things that help.Pumpkin seeds are high in zinc and the herb saw palmetto. However it is best to consult the doctor if you decide to try something herbal. It sounds as though the injections and morphine are suppressing the pain than curing the problem. Whilst consulting the doctor and getting the medical treatment ,your friend feels he needs, I would suggest he looks into more natural and non-invasive treatments as well.
