Depending on the amount the speed limit was exceeded by, you'll be fined and, yes, you will receive points.
Most likely, you might have a case if the temporary speed restriction signs weren't in place, but doubtful.
I meant, it was most likely that the fine 60 and 3 penalty points will be enforceed.
yup, I got done in exactly that situation a few years back. Fine & points.
yes, fine and points.

The temporary speed limits in roadworks are there to protect the workforce from people like you!

If you are caught speeding through roadworks by a camera, then you deserve everything you get.

You expect your employer to look after your health and safety at work.  Why can't you extend the same courtesy to those people that maintain the roads?

Oh grow up Mr. holier than thou.

You should know it is not high speed than is dangerous, it is inappropriate speed.

And somethimes this can be too slow as well as too fast.

You had no need to start this silly debate, the person who asked the question gave you no indication that he/she had been caught speeding.

You are a good advert for marriage (bet you cant work that out)

It seems to me that planetmartin has a point.  In america, if you are caught speeding when there are workmen/women present, your fine is doubled.  I dont think workpersons lives are put at risk from people going slowly through roadworks(!)

anyway, back to the point, dave b the answer is yes i'm afraid
