24 I have already given you a hint on this, and your first wild guess is correct.
29 is unclued and you need to consult Chambers for the answer, it is thematic.
13d is an anagram, consult Chambers to confirm
21 Correct, but again I hinted on this before.
36a not as you have surmised, 26d is also what you use to connect pieces of paper together.

Many thanks to you all for the help here! The puzzling one is still 24 ACROSS...SOLO or SOKO? What is the rationale?
Perhaps SO= very; in a high degree and LO(as DocHH hinted) = Look! See! SOLO seems to be the winner! What is your view, here, shaneystar2?
I will be vacationing in France this summer again and on my way there I will spend a week in London, so I will definitely get myself a Chambers and a Bradfords!

I'm stumped on this one .
I thought that with the word play OK is ..very good ..
But if I put LO round OK it throws out 6D
Can't find a definition anywhere . Not even in Chambers :)
My way of thinking is that So is Look as in .. Ah ..so ...
Now then is a Soko a motorcycle ?

Booger it ..I am getting really senior moments lately .
I have just looked up SOLO in Chambers as I should have done in the first place and ..LO and behold ( pardon the pun )..
a SOLO is a damned motorcycle .
I have spent days looking at that one clue !
All becomes clear .
