How much money do i need for my 3 week trip?

In May I go to Nice and Paris France for 5 days, Sienna Italy for 6, and San Sebastian via Barcelona Spain for 6. I have my plane ticket and rail pass, Bed and Board accounted for. I won't be buying much stuff to bring home and there are 3 or 4 days I won't be spending almost any money at all.

I don't need to be luxurious, but I want to enjoy myself.
Will $2,000 be enough spending money for food, wine, and a few excursions?

That much money should put youu in the luxury class. The best idea would be to put the money in your local bank account and take an ATM card and pull out what you need each day. That way you do not have a lot of cash lying around for someone to take. You will also get the best rate of exchange each day and that will save you whatever your bank charges. Sounds like a fun vacation. San Sebasstian is nice but expensive as far as food goes. Loved the bay and the beaches. Make sure you go up the fanicular so you get a good view of the whole bay and town of San Sebastian.
