Make copies of your best single and offer them to local pubs that support gigs, usually with your first appearance as non paid. Word will soon spread if you are any good. Search the internet for applicable pubs/clubs in the area you would most like to visit in the U.K plus near to a YHA for accomodation if you are not already sorted.
