Im 35 weeks this week and not sure if i should be worried about this,

my baby is most active during the night, she moves in the day but very active at night, i can feel her throughout the night, as im not sleeping very well, i guess its due to the worry of the labour and being so close, anyway i woke up this morning feeling like she hadnt moved as much, i felt her moving a few times throughout the day and right now as normal so i decided not to go to the hospital,

her movements seem normal but extremely faint compared to normal?
could the head be engaged? i mean do the movements get faint when the head engages? any other reason this might be? she is moving as normal and has hicupps but even the hiccups feel faint compared to normal, she is moving right now, it just doesnt feel as strong, should i be getting myself to the hospital?

the nearer to the end you get the less movement you feel as basically there is less room for the baby to move about in.
as the baby gets bigger there is less room to move about, and your movement during the day (while you're active) will sooth the baby to sleep. once you're sleeping, baby fidgets!

if you're worried, why not ring the hospital for some reassurance?
as long as you are feeling movements i really would try not to worry onlyme.

thanks guys, well i didnt want to rush down to the hospital like i did with my first born !! ( false alarm) lol though i know they are very understanding about things like this.

just feels weird the movements being so faint so suddenly, though you;re right, there cant be much room in there and she is moving right now as normal lol
i remember being told by my midwife to sit down and relax and have something really sugery like a mars bar and the sugar gets the baby active.
hi Onlyme.
if you are worried about anything .. just phone up the hospital to be sure or speak to your midwife. Dont just leave it.

All the best
