It was called Russian, made by Schweppes...you know who! I think you can still buy it in small off-licences.
Was Russian peach flavoured? I remember seeing it on the supermarket shelves but never actually tasted it.
Yes, it was definitely peach flavoured. Come to think of it, I think I may have seen it a few years ago, in either Sainsbury's or Tesco, but I know it's very hard to get hold of.
I agree with all the above, but I'm sure there was another vodka mixer which was out about the same time. Can't remember the name but I'm sure it sounded like a kind of Russian word, and I never tasted it. Not much to go on here really. Sorry!
Schweppes Russchian (yes it IS spelt like that) was around then and I've bought it fairly recently in Sainsburys. It's pink and doesn't taste of peaches to me - sharper rather than sweet (Cranberries maybe?).
there seems to be a consensus elsewhere on the web that it is raspberry flavour. I don't seem to recall it being fruit flavoured at all. Am going to investigate further - preferably with a large vodka as well!!!

I agree that it doesn't taste of peach , but it does taste of the flavouring agent that they normally descibe as peach, ie in peach schnapps etc.
