Can you scan a 110 negative film strip? If so what are the results like and which scanner (preferably with auto feed) does the job? Thanks for any ideas.

I've never had satisfactory results from scanned slides (I'm assuming these would work similarly to negative film strip). Plus, the scanners seem pricey, especially for something that may not work well. However, I have had better results by rigging up my old slide projector, and having a digital camea on a tripod next to it, so I can take photos of the projected image. It's a bit heath-robinson-ish but doesn't involve investing in new equipment. Could something similar work for your film strips?
