My mum took in a stray at the shop in which she works, she has now brought Toots home whilst the shop get a refurb. In both places she isnt allowed outside as she is a nervous cat, not familiar with her surroundings and there are dogs in the neighbouring houses.
Anyway, mum heard that to bring up furballs cats use grass to help but as we are weary of taking her outside, is there anything we can do/provide to help her bring em up as we can hear her wheezin n making those gaggin sounds?
I got paste from the vet for my cats. I had to paint it on their paws so they could lick it off. Frankie the evil tom wiped his paw against some woodwork and refused to lick it off. I am not sure what his sister did with hers - but she stopped wheezing and I can only presume that she ingested the stuff.
I think defurrum is your best bet, as other abers have stated. You can buy it in different flavours. My cats prefer the chicken one .Give it a go,if she will not lick it of her paws try putting it on her food [ good stuff] for furballs.g.
