False eyelashes advice needed!
I've never used these before! Just a few questions...
What are the best brand and where can I get them?
Do you just stick them on your eyelids and thats it?
Do you do your eye makeup before or after you put them on?
And how do you get them off?
TIA

I use most brands, either from boots, H&M or even the market-most are good.
You really need to do eye make-up first, then put them on.
Can also cut to size-line up with eye and see if too big-if so just chop a bit off.
You get a little tube of glue with it, put that on back and just fix on-first time can be a bit tricky.
Then when finished just peel off-the glue isn't that strong dont worry!
Most time it take my make up with it when peel off, so if take them off half way through the day/nigh then take some more make up out with you!
Good luck!

Hi, CAJ1! Here is an answer I gave someone who posted a similar Q:
Ah, I am the false eyelash queen. :) Don't bother with the individual lashes- too much faffing about.
Are you planning on wearing them for a special occasion? If so, make sure you practice putting them on a few times before the night, as they can be a bit fiddly when you're not used to them.
I only ever use Eylure lashes (from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, etc.); they're really well priced and last for ages once you know how to look after them.. http://www.eylure.com/products/lashes/
Before you apply them, use eye liner along the top of your lashes (this will hide a gap if you 'mis-stick' them) and put on your mascara as you would usually. When everything is dry, apply the glue to the lashes and leave for about ten seconds until the glue is tacky. To put them on, use tweezers- it's so much easier than using your fingers. Line them up on your eyelid and plonk them on. Use the tweezers to move along the lash and gently push against your eyelid so they stick down evenly. Don't use mascar on top of them- they will only clump and stick to your own eyelashes and you won't be able to re-use them.
To remove them, pull them gently from the outside corners (be careful you don't pull them out of shape). After a couple of wears, the glue might build up, but you can pull this off (really carefully!) with your tweezers.
Oh, and make sure that the lashes are applied after the rest of your make-up.
Hope that's all helpful. :)

i would use ones that come with glue, i have always found them more 'sticky'.
i posted an eye-make up related question here previously, and 'whiskeysheri' came up trumps with great advice on what to do. i have used fake eye lashes before, but her tips helped me out big time, i no longer have to get my boyfreind to apply them for me!!!
I use ones from Super drug, found some great ones, as recommened by wiskeysheri, by Eyelure.
I put the sticky on the underside of the eye lashes, only a little bit, dont want them too splodgy...leave for a few seconds for the glue to go tacky...
Then holding the hairy part with tweezers, line them over you partyl closed eye, whislt looking in a mirror. Then press down onto the skin using the tweezers and they should just stick.
But do your make up first. make them the last thing you apply.
i hope this helps a little more than the previous one...!
good luck x
