Going to Thailand, anyone any idea of the distance between Bangkok and kanchanaburi (River kwai) is?

Also from Bankok to laos & Bangkok to Cambodia.

If you know of any sites that would give distances between places I would be grateful.

Apparently it's a 3 hour drive to Kanchanaburi and there's a bus service. Didn't do it when I was there though.
However did go as far as borders of Laos.
Overnight (12 hour) train to Chiang Mai, 4 hour bus ride to Thaton, 6 hour fast (and I mean fast , =45mph) to Chiang Rai and a couple of hours bus ride from there.

Bangkok to Kanchanaburi is about 125 miles

Bangkok to Vientiane (Laos) is around 320 miles

Bangkok to Phnom Penh is about 330 miles
