Please settle an argument. Can someone be identified in an ID parade by a witness if the felon is wearing a balaclava hat? It's driving us all crazy here, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is probably a spoof question and answer, but I'll reply anyway. If the witness did not see the offender properly, perhaps because of a balaclava, no identity parade would be held. If the witness did get a look at the offender, nobody on the identity parade would be wearing a balaclava. So the answer is no.
Grunty - I asked this question with sincerity. An argument followed at work when someone suggested that if veiled ladies may keep their veils on for any reason, then can felons who were witnessed breaking the law wearing balaclavas keep theirs on too. It was a very heated discussion and I said I would try and settle it by using this site for some answers. Thank you for yours by the way.
tetherend - sorry I misunderstood. There have been some spoof Q & As recently. All the same, everything possible is done to be fair to everyone concerned.
