Sleep is an amazing thing. You can't wish yourself into it, you can't wish yourself out of it. Your brain goes wild while you are asleep and throws together some quite incredible sequences of experiences and emotions.

It is banal, but I wake up every morning at 6.30am, it is eerie to hear John Humphries announcing the headlines.
