3" pots
if i need to start my tomato plants off in 3" pots, does this mean 3" diameter, 3" circumference or 3" depth? thankyou.

Actually, the best place to start any seedling is an egg carton. Just fill the dimples with soil, set in a sunny place on a couple of paper towels, water every other day or so, et voila... You can then transplant them to a bigger pot, or to the outside if the weather permits...
