My brother in law came round earlier and although he's a lovely guy and I have a few friends who really like him and would jump at a chance to go out with him he thinks he isn't good enough for them.

Whatever I say he thinks cos he's my hubby's brother I'm just being kind. He had a bad relatiosnhip with someone years ago and took to heart what she said to him and he seems to have let it affect him.

Maybe it is all about confidence.....BELIEVING you ARE good enough......but most of us don't . We can be our own worst enemies. Rejection is a demoralising experiance. Sad if love is lost or missed entirely.

and it seems to be working

which sounds bad

but what i mean is
ive had ex partners for varying reasons.
my fault , their fault , others interfereing.

Hubby thinks I shouldn't interfer and says he's happy on his own (he lives alone he works alone so he has no company at all) but I don't think he is happy and he'd dearly love a child.
