The head is engaged!!!

ahhh how scary i went to see the midwife this morning for check up! the head is engaged!!!!
i have 4 weeks left and im moving house next week!!! im sure she will come before the 4 weeks!!

i cant remember with my first how long it took after the head engaged,

anyone ot any ideas? i know it can be for weeks but average how long normally before the labour does the head engage??

with subsequent babies they often engage at last minute, but dont panic, a lot of them pop in and out for a while before birth too.
With my first he was fully engaged for 4 weeks before birth, with my second i think she was 2 weeks.

to be honest im totally ready for the baby, got all the stuff and im ready to go, im tired and fed up of being pregnant and very uncomfortable so in all aspects like that im ready, its just we are moving next week, only down the road to a bigger place and will only take a day or 2 to move everything over but i need her to hold on till then lol
hehe very scary tho, knowing she could come at any time!

Hi onlyme26. When I was having my son, his head engaged 3 weeks before my due date. He was born 10 days after my due date being induced. He was obviously comfy where he was! Hope it all goes well for you. xx
