Can looking at your credit report affect your credit rating?

Not as such, but if you get a lot of requests for your credit report (i.e. as if you were applying for credit at numerous places) I believe it can go against you. Just getting a copy yourself wont do any harm and would possibly do some good if you need to correct anything on it.
