Adding radiator to conservatory

Thanks guys for your earlier posts. Yes I can take a feed-'T' off from the dining room and return back to dining room. Somebody I know has a bungalow with a new conservatory, and I believe the plumber took the feed up from somewhere and back down into the consevatory, does this sound ok? thanks again

I remember your earlier post - can't exactly remember what advice you had about it.
If you are putting a radiator into a conservatory and want to take the feed off a radiator on an adjacent external wall to the new conservatory (by drilling through the external wall to be able to run pipework into the new room) then I can confirm that I have successfully done this.
The point is that the 'old' room which now has a conservatory on the outside of it will now need less heat supplied to it.
One merely takes a feed and return, one from each side of the old rad. I found I was able to completly turn the old rad off (though left it in situ).

basically you take a feed off the most convenient and accessible place bearing in mind that most customers are going to want the pipework hidden as much as possible. the only thing you have to rem if you are dropping from high level to low level is you wont be able to drain the pipework so make sure you include a drain plug.
