my partner and i have been charged with posesion with intent of class c .a bag was found in my garden which was put there by him,i didnt know it was there ,the money was his and his mobile had stuff on it to sergest he was selling,he has told them i wasnt nout to do with it but iim the tennant ,and ive been charged along side him ,im not guilty of this ,what are my chances of getting done for something that he admits to ,and hes told them it nothing to do with me .
You are presumably charged with the offence of possessing with intent to supply a class c drug. You are ther occupier of property on which the drug was discovered by the police. You are therefore guilty of an offence. Like the landlord of a pub who claims not to have any knowledge of "unlawful gaming" on his premises you have vacarious responsibility for all that transpires in such circumstances around the curtilage of your home. What I am saying is: if you claim that you didn't know the drug was in your garden how come you say your partner put it there ? How did you know ?
like i said ,it was a bag of odl damp leaves, that was cut off an old plant ,that he put there,he admitted to police he had put it there, long before he told me.
I'd get myself a lawyer and defend this one, debbie. My knowledge of the law is, er, hazy, but I'm not sure that proving you own the property is sufficient to prove you intended to supply the drugs to anyone. Anyway, that's what I'd argue if I was your lawyer.
Whether you knew it was there, or what it was - or not - is your word against theirs debbie. You're the tenant. Does this person live with you? If so, as your partner, it might be difficult to prove your innocence. Get in touch with the CAB as soon as you can.
well he said go not guilty, which to posesion of the stuff i am not guilty it was his as he admited, and i am going not guilty to the intent to suply cos ,he admits to that away from my house so hes doing wot he has to do cos i dont even smoke the stuff that alone sell it.but my breif says it will be better to go to crown for this,i just wish it was a differant charge for me.like guilty of being with a dodgy partner, who better take the blame for his crap.
OK hun - well get yourself a solicitor, and I hope all this doesn't effect your tenancy. May be best to tell the bf that if he ever brings anything near your house again - he's history. Don't want to sound mean, but I'm sure you can do without all this worry.
hi just to let you know we start the court case on monday at the crown,im worried sick, but im still going not guilty as i wasnt anything to do with the drugs, boyfriend is going guilty, and lets hope thats enough ,i pray the jury believe me as im so worried for my kids.i let you know what happens, thanks again for your replys.
