Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to view my street on "Street view".
I actually saw the google car video film the cul de sac where I live but the nearest point I can get to my home
on the site is a football stadium about 4 miles away and it won't allow me to progress to my house

Its probably not been uploaded onto their servers yet, but if you want to post your address we could all give it a go
How is anybody meant to be able to tell you if it's possible to see your street in street view unless your prepared to post what street you live in (which wouldn't be such a good idea)
Just go onto Google.

Select maps

Enter your address, and zoom in.

Above the slider on the left is a little man icon. If it is plain, then no photos are in that area.

If the little man is orange then click and drag it across the map. The roads with photos will become highlighted in blue. Drop the little man on the road you wish to see.
Panic, now you have spoiled the fun.

I was looking forward to looking at someone else's house, Google haven't done my area yet and the only place that is done that i know people is Glasgow where my daughter lives. Think she must have been working nights as the curtains where closed.
My sister had put her green bin of recycling out.

Good girl
lol..my aunty in london is standing in her front garden watering the flowers!!
there are some small/unexpected places not listed by google as being on streetview--eg forfar and kirriemuir in angus--limited coverage though--mainly town centres--i reckon they wre doing dundee and decided to pass the time by having a jaunt out to the sticks--cheers
